The Center Director role at KinderCare Learning Companies involves leading a team of educators, engaging with parents, and growing the company's presence in the community. This position focuses on providing high-quality early childhood education and making a positive impact on children and their families.

Responsibilities

• Hire, engage, and develop a team of educators to be passionate and committed professionals
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners
• Use business, sales, and marketing skills to grow KinderCare's presence in the community, leading to the growth of new families and children in our centers

Requirements

• At least one year of solid leadership experience with the ability to develop, engage, and inspire a team
• Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and multi-tasking abilities
• Budget and financial accountability with revenue generation experience preferred
• NAEYC/NAC and state licensing knowledge preferred
• Able to use a computer with basic proficiency, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors
• Able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English

Pay

Range of pay: $56,250.00 - $102,250.00

In the state of Minnesota, there is an additional $3.00 per hour premium on all classroom hours worked, funded through the Minnesota Great Start Grant Compensation Support Program.
