Center Director
Position Overview
You will be part of the management team responsible for managing the overall program including human resource development, staff scheduling, program planning, program implementation and evaluation; student assessments, family relations, marketing, enrollments and academy operations.
Position Requirements
- Minimum two (2) years of full time experience in managing center-based programs in an Assistant Director, Center Director or similar management role.
- Candidates should have all credentials required for the position of a Center Director per WAC or be willing to get them shortly after joining
- A thorough knowledge of WA Licensing regulations (WACs) for child care centers and a great understanding of developmentally-appropriate practices
- Must have at least an AA degree in child care or management, or related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Action oriented, organized, strategic thinker, focused on getting the right things done
About the Role
Kiddie Academy of Seattle at Greenwood is a newly opened academy in the Greater Seattle area. It is part of the KAGS Group, which includes academies in Bellevue, Bothell, Kenmore, Kirkland, Mill Creek, and Seattle.
