Physical attendance at an InnovAge facility and/or an InnovAge participant home is essential to performing the job duties.
Responsibilities
The Center Director is the primary business owner responsible for delivering on the overall performance of the center, including compliance with licensing, accreditation and certification requirements of all departments supervised.
- Lead, coordinate, and monitor staff and operations to meet the mission of the InnovAge PACE or LIFE programs and deliver on our five pillars: People, Service, Quality, Growth, and Financial.
- Achieve 5 pillar objectives and KPI results:
- People: employee engagement score
- Service: participant satisfaction score
- Quality: compliance and quality targets; participate in the Quality Management Program, including attending quarterly meetings
- Work with the interdisciplinary team to formulate Plans of Care for participants and coordinate/monitor care
- Growth: census targets
- Financial: assist leadership with development of annual FTE and operations budget for the Adult Day Healthcare Center (ADHC); achieve budgeted site revenue, medical costs, operating expenses, and contribution margin
- Implement standardized workflows, continually improve processes, develop and implement policy and procedures, and ensure staff understanding and adherence to standards.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the ADHC, including facility maintenance, timely repairs/inspections, and ensuring adequate equipment/supplies for safety and cleanliness.
- Foster a culture of compliance regarding licensing, accreditation, and certification requirements.
- Collaborate with IT to implement tools and technology supporting desired outcomes.
- Serve as a member of the Management Team and on various internal/external committees.
- Designate Clinic Manager or ADHC Manager during absences.
- Oversee total food service and day-to-day supervision of food services staff, including coordinating food services, developing work assignments, purchasing food, and training/supervising employees.
- Additional work functions and duties as assigned.
Supervision
- Effectively supervise and manage direct reports, providing leadership and motivation.
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies and applicable state/federal employment laws, including interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning, and directing work.
- Appraise performance, recognize/reward employees, and address complaints or problems with corrective disciplinary procedures (in partnership with Human Resources).
- Ensure annual employee performance reviews are conducted timely and effectively.
- Evaluate employee performance for compliance with policies and contributions to organizational objectives.
- Maintain department morale, teamwork, and a positive employment culture.
- Schedule regular leadership/management, department, and staff 1:1 meetings to provide leadership, development, and communication.
- Collaborate with sales, transportation, homecare, and network management teams to achieve local targets.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (required)
- 10+ years healthcare experience
- 10+ years management experience
- 1+ year working with the frail or elderly
- Current CPR and First Aid certification or ability to obtain
- Master’s degree (preferred)
- Bilingual (preferred)

Posted pay range: $146,000 - $189,000
