Center-Based Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Job Summary

Life Skills Autism Academy seeks exceptional behavior technicians with current RBT certification or willingness to obtain it within 45 days of employment. The role involves providing ABA therapy in 1:1 and group settings, collecting and summarizing data, assisting with parent training, and maintaining a safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings using ABA techniques.
• Follow and implement behavior skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols.
• Collect and record data on client behavior.
• Aid in parent and caregiver training.
• Document client progress and communicate with parents/caregivers.
• Ensure safety and report critical incidents.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Assist in preparing client materials and assessments.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license (if applicable)
• At least 18 years old
• Willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and TB test
• Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting up to 50 lbs and running quickly
• Professional demeanor and patience
• Positive attitude and strong cultural competency

Qualifications

• Experience in related fields such as Behavioral Technician, working with children with autism, etc.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong understanding of technology for data recording and digital applications

Pay

Pay Range: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
