Center-Based Behavior Technician

Responsibilities

• Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with clients with Autism Spectrum disorders.
• Support and foster independence with clients.
• Provide instructional support, and implement treatment and behavior plans.
• Implement specialized curriculum designed by Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Proactively communicate and collaborate effectively with Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), BCBA, families, and additional team members to support the needs of the client.
• Communicate professionally and in a timely manner with families, BCBA, and RBT team members.
• Use a tablet/computer-related device to collect data required for analysis.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Desired applicants will hold an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Psychology, and/or Education with at least 6 months of experience working with children (Nannies, babysitters, Teachers, etc.), or working with individuals with developmental disabilities, children, adolescents, or young adults.
