Cemetery Sales Counselor
About the role
Integrity Group, celebrating 25 years of leadership, service, and stewardship, operates locally managed cemeteries dedicated to serving families through a commitment to the Standard of Care: Serving Families One Conversation at a Time.
Responsibilities
- Meet with families regarding cemetery property, burial rights, vaults, memorials, and related cemetery products and services
- Aid families with both pre-need and at-need cemetery planning
- Listen to families, understand their needs, and clearly explain available cemetery options
- Develop new family relationships through community outreach, referrals, follow-up, and personal prospecting
- Help families plan ahead and, where possible, keep family arrangements together
- Explain cemetery products, services, pricing, financing, and available options clearly and professionally
- Maintain consistent sales activity, family follow-up, and relationship development
- Work toward established monthly production goals
- Maintain accurate records and complete required paperwork
- Participate in training, team meetings, and cemetery programs
- Build long-term relationships throughout the West Columbia and surrounding community
- Represent Celestial Memorial Gardens and Integrity Group with professionalism, compassion, and integrity
- Follow Integrity Group's established systems and Standard of Care
Requirements
The ideal candidate should be service-oriented and comfortable working with families, a strong listener and relationship builder, self-motivated and accountable for personal performance, comfortable with sales goals and measurable production, consistent with prospecting and follow-up, professional, organized, and dependable, comfortable asking for the business after understanding the family's needs, community-minded and willing to develop new relationships, willing to learn cemetery property, merchandise, services, financing, and applicable regulations, and committed to serving families with integrity. Experience in cemetery sales is valuable but not required.
Qualifications
Successful candidates will have proven sales ability, relationship-building skills, and a genuine service mindset.
Skills
Strong communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills are essential.

Pay
$13.00 per hour PLUS earned commissions PLUS performance bonuses. Historically, an annual income of $65,000 – $100,000+ is a realistic earning opportunity.
