Cement Mason/Concrete Finisher I

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Set forms, screeds and ensure correct alignment, elevation, and grade
• Mix, pour, spread, level, and smooth concrete using hand tools and power tools
• Finish concrete surfaces using trowels, floats, screeds, and edgers
• Apply surface treatments, sealers, and curing compounds
• Cut expansion joints using hand tools or power saws
• Create decorative finishes (e.g., broom, exposed aggregate, stamped concrete) when required
• Monitor curing process to ensure proper strength and durability
• Repair, patch, and resurface existing concrete structures including use of concrete grinders, demo hammers, mix and pour repair mortars and dry rub finishing tools

Qualifications

• Must have at least three (3)+ years of concrete finisher or similar construction experience
