Cement Mason Apprentice

Responsibilities

• A. Spread concrete to specified depth and workable consistency
• B. Mix cement
• C. Level, smooth, and shape surfaces of freshly poured concrete
• D. Finish concrete surfaces using power trowel, or wet and rub concrete with abrasive stone to create finish
• E. Remove rough or defective spots from concrete surfaces using power grinder or chisel and hammer
• F. Patch holes with fresh concrete or epoxy compound
• G. Mold expansion joints and edges
• H. Clean work area and restock supplies and materials as necessary
• I. Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels
• J. All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Repetitive hand, arm, leg movements
• Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling: up to 50 lbs.

Pay

The base pay range for this role is $20.73 per hour.
