About the role

Leading a medium size team of Systems Engineers on EW related programs
Managing all system engineering content and work products implementing the product development process
Managing Cost and Schedule responsibilities for the systems team
Executing of systems planning and requirements development
Creating and reviewing of systems requirements to include, software, component, subsystem, and operational concepts
Allocating of requirements to engineering other disciplines
Creating system test plans, procedures and reports
Providing oversight to product design, development, integration, and verification
Providing technical support to customers, other contractors and government officials
Managing and participating in trade studies, peer reviews, and customer meetings
Preparing and delivering technical presentations internally and with customers
Monitoring and reporting metrics such as System Technical Performance Measures
Supporting proposal development activities, including proposal text development, cost and schedule estimating, and presentation activities.

Responsibilities

  • Creating system test plans, procedures and reports
  • Providing oversight to product design, development, integration, and verification
  • Providing technical support to customers, other contractors and government officials
  • Managing and participating in trade studies, peer reviews, and customer meetings
  • Preparing and delivering technical presentations internally and with customers
  • Making sure metrics such as System Technical Performance Measures are monitored and reported
  • Supporting proposal development activities, including proposal text development, cost and schedule estimating, and presentation activities.

Requirements

BS degree in a STEM field in addition to 10+ years of relevant industry or equivalent
Active Secret security clearance (with ability to possess a Top Secret clearance in the future)

Skills

  • Leadership skills and experience directing and mentoring engineers on complex programs
  • Expert in effectively documenting, communicating, leading and working with a team on designs, results, reports, and presentations
  • Experience performing systems engineering activities across the development cycle (analysis/decomposition/derivation/allocation of requirements, system modeling & simulation, system design & development, system integration & test)
  • Experience developing viable concept solutions, identifying and tracking technical risks, and leading technical teams
  • EVMs certification and CAM experienced required

Preferred

  • Project/Program team member responsible for workflow, which is dynamic in nature
  • Experience with EW, Radar and/or RFCM Systems
  • Familiarity or experience with Agile Systems Engineering

Pay

Full-Time Salary Range: $149603 - $254317
