Cell Site Engineer

As a Network Operations Engineer, you will provide technical expertise on a critical role involving network transformation, network outages, service issues, network optimization, and maintenance. You will be responsible for providing support to keep things running smoothly and change the way that our customers live, work, and play.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise on a critical role involving network transformation, network outages, service issues, network optimization, and maintenance.
• Support the rotational needs of a technical environment.
• Evaluate network coverage to find gaps, make recommendations to improve coverage, and help implement those recommendations.
• Perform troubleshooting, configuration changes, drive issues to resolution, and related functions.
• Generate, drive, and update problem-tracking tickets via multiple systems and continuously improve business practices.
• Escalate issues to the appropriate internal/external engineer teams for resolution.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or two or more years of work experience.
• Three or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Willingness to travel up to approximately 75% of the time.
• Valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• A technical degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related discipline.
• Knowledge of telecommunications equipment and technologies like Telephony Switching, Data Communications and Network Routers.
• Computer support experience, including troubleshooting PC hardware and configurations.
• Vendor management experience.

Skills

• Experience navigating and working well at all levels in a fast-paced, ever-changing network environment.
• Enjoying solving problems and being the first one to encounter and solve a problem.
• Great at following an established process or procedure to complete tasks.

Pay

The annual salary range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $82,000.00 - $134,000.00. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more.
