Posted: Sep 14, 2026 APPLY Cell Lead (Night Shift) Aagard - Alexandria, MN business_center Full-time Salary: $26.00 - $32.50 Hourly Application Deadline: Oct 30, 2026 Manufacturing Pay Range: $26.00-$32.50 Key Obsessions Support the teamServe as the first point of contact for assigned work, coordinating the daily activities of the fabrication cell.Train and mentor team members to ensure skill development and role proficiency.Remove obstacles, solve problems, and empower cell members to perform their best.Prioritize and complete production tasks on time, maintaining a “can’t believe they pulled that off” mindset for expedited and high-impact projects.Commitment to safety and qualityEnsure and maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment that supports team members’ well-being and operational excellence.Uphold quality standards by ensuring parts and processes meet documented requirements and by performing routine maintenance and housekeeping.Continuously identify and implement best practices to improve cell performance, increase productivity, reduce costs, and help our customers win.Attend company training to develop leadership skills and expertise further.Perform Fabrication dutiesAs a working lead, operate fabrication equipment proficiently to meet production needs and address equipment issues to minimize downtime.Assist team members with troubleshooting and resolving issues related to parts, tooling, and processes.Address and resolve equipment-related issues to minimize downtime.Ensure parts are labeled, organized, and flow efficiently with minimal work-in-progress (WIP) inventory. Team members may be asked to work before or after their scheduled shift or on non-regular workdays.Perform additional duties as assigned. Knowledge And Experience Associate’s degree in Machine Tool Technology plus 1 year of fabrication experience or equivalent combination of education and/or experienceProven career growth in fabrication roles with expertise in setting up and operating fabrication equipmentAbility to view and understand CAD drawings and use of Aagard softwareExperience with Microsoft products including proficiency with Microsoft OfficeStrong prioritization, time management, organization, proactive decision-making, and attention to detailConfidence and ability to communicate professionally with internal and external customers verbally and in writingAbility to walk or stand up to 100 percent of the timeAbility to lift up to 50 lbs., stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or climb Benefits Offered At Aagard, we believe in investing in you—your health, your career, your financial future, and your well-being.
