Responsibilities

• Safely produce a quality product according to customer work order guidelines in a team environment.
• Cross train on various aspects of a lamination machine’s operation to ensure customer orders are correct and undamaged.
• Operate up to two different types of manual equipment, including Router, Bands Saw, Pipe cover saw, Curved Segment Saw, Miter Saw, and Hullboard machine.
• Understand purchase orders, product descriptions, and determine product manufacturing requirements.
• Perform all machine functions such as blade changing, tensioning, turning equipment on/off, setup, and changeovers between jobs.
• Make machine adjustments including changing blades, adjusting spray guns, and using hand tools.
• Ensure the machine produces products meeting required dimensions and quality standards; minimize defects and report issues immediately.
• Understand and perform Lock Out / Tag Out safety procedures.
• Lift heavy objects by hand or using a power hoist; clean work area, machines, and equipment using broom, rags, and cleaning compounds.
• Participate in periodic workplace safety learning sessions and perform daily housekeeping to keep the work area clean and organized.
• Complete all work efficiently and timely as instructed by supervisor.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing work environment.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior forklift experience is preferred.
• Proven track record of good attendance and punctuality.
• Valid driver’s license required if operating a company vehicle.

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted to load and unload various products.
• Capable of climbing, stooping, kneeling, crawling, standing, and ladder climbing as needed for daily work.

Pay

$13.00 - $30.00 per hour. Actual offers depend on factors such as location, experience, skills, and market data. This position may also offer variable compensation.
