About the role
Bring your talent and leadership to Raytheon's Hardware Integration Center (HWIC) as a Production Supervisor. You will oversee a manufacturing operations team of 15-20 employees in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, ensuring products meet contractual quality, cost, and delivery requirements. This role involves planning, organizing, and directing production flow while maintaining a safe work environment and leading safety improvement projects.
You will collaborate daily with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing engineering, maintenance, production control, finance, and program management, to meet organizational goals. Key responsibilities include achieving cost, quality, delivery, and safety targets, and driving continuous improvement using CORE and lean methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Execute production schedules and manage costs.
- Plan and forecast workforce needs, including hiring and training employees.
- Track time and attendance.
- Manage area layout and production flow.
- Identify capital needs and control overhead expenses.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Support deployment of manufacturing operations strategy, control systems, tools, and metrics to measure progress and identify root causes of failure modes, production capacity, quality, and staffing issues.
- Develop and implement corrective action plans.
Requirements
- A University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years of experience.
- Supervisory, leadership, and/or manufacturing experience.
- U.S. citizenship (required for security clearance eligibility).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Operations Management using lean manufacturing concepts and a track record in lean/Six Sigma.
- Basic knowledge of the theory of constraints.
- Previous experience supervising bargaining unit employees.
- Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering experience in the aerospace/defense industry.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Access).
Pay
The salary range for this role is $86,800 – $165,200 USD. The range is a good-faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including role, function, responsibilities, work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
