Job Summary
TerraBella Senior Living is seeking an Activities and Events Coordinator to assist in the development and oversight of resident activities, plan and conduct programs, and prepare a calendar of events.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and oversight of resident activities.
- Plan, schedule, and conduct programs providing physical, intellectual, social, emotional, and spiritual opportunities for residents.
- Attend and help coordinate community planned functions, including set-up, running, and breakdown.
- Aid in preparing and organizing a calendar of events.
- Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, for planned activity events.
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in social work, recreation, sociology, psychology, or related field preferred.
- One to three years experience in assisted living or long term care with memory care patients preferred.
- Proficient verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Ability to encourage and motivate older adults.
- Computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Demonstrated creative ability.
- Strong organizational, delegation, and consensus-building skills.
