Responsibilities
- Aid in planning, scheduling, and executing programs to support residents' well-being.
- Engage residents in activities and plan and facilitate daily programs, special events, and holiday celebrations.
- Coordinate events from start to finish, including set-up, execution, and breakdown.
- Maintain an activities calendar and community newsletter.
- Manage activity spaces and supplies, and coordinate with other departments for programming needs.
- Meet with new residents to introduce programs and build engagement.
- Organize and support volunteer involvement.
- Provide safe, timely transportation for residents to activities and appointments.
- Aid residents in and out of vehicles, including mobility support.
- Secure wheelchairs and ensure passenger safety.
- Document vehicle condition and support compliance with regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience in activities, hospitality, or senior living (preferred).
- Must be 21+ with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- CDL may be required based on community needs.
- Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.
- Passion for working with seniors and creating meaningful experiences.
