Responsibilities
- Directing a highly complex and specialized construction engineering administration and inspection program
- Planning and organizing the work of subordinate and staff members
- Developing and/or reviewing policies, methods, practices, and procedures
- Reviewing programs for conformance with Department standards
- Supports, oversees and coordinates engineering production activities for an operating unit
- Makes decisions and recommendations that are recognized as authoritative
- Initiates and maintains contact with senior-level management within the company and is skilled in dispute resolution and negotiation of critical issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Valid US Driver’s License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices
- Professional Engineer (PE) and the ability to obtain endorsement in the State of Florida within six months of Project NTP if registered in another state
