CEI Senior Bridge Inspector
What Your Day Will Look Like
As a CEI Senior Bridge Inspector, you’ll be responsible for demonstrating a successful career in bridge and/or roadway construction inspection. The Inspector will inspect construction work and conduct field tests for compliance with contract documents. Support will be provided to various project procedures, particularly in documentation development for the final estimate package.
What You'll Do
- On-site inspection of roadway and bridge construction
- Maintain monitoring of on-site construction activities
- Supervise day-to-day activities of inspection staff
- Review reports from inspection staff and write summary reports of all construction activities
- Assist with conducting inspections, observations, and running materials tests and checking construction work
- Maintain detailed records of daily operations
What You'll Need
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Four (4) years of CEI experience in roadway or bridge construction
- Must have the following as required by the scope of work for the intended assignment on the project at the time of NTP:
- CTQP Final Estimates Level I
- CTQP Concrete Field Technician Level I
- CTQP Concrete Field Inspector Level II (Bridges)
- CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level I
- CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level II
- CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level I
- CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level II
- CTQP Pile Driving Inspection
- CTQP Drilled Shaft Inspection
- FDOT Intermediate MOT IMSA Traffic Signal Inspector Level I
- Nuclear Radiation Safety
- Florida Stormwater, Erosion, and Sedimentation Control Training and Certification Program for Inspectors and Contractors
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
