CEI Manager
About the role
Barge is looking for a CEI Inspection Manager to perform technical assignments including inspection of roadway and bridge construction activities; oversight of contractor daily operations; performing materials sampling and verification testing; plans reading; field surveying and construction engineering computations. Monitor construction progress, verify work completed and assist with construction pay estimates and senior inspector responsibilities.
Responsibilities

- Manages small group of CEI Inspectors
Requirements
High school graduate or equivalent; 7 years of experience in construction inspection on transportation projects including roadway and bridge construction.
Qualifications
- OSHA 10 Safety Training Construction (All field personnel)
- TDOT: HMA Certified Roadway Inspector
- Asphalt Plant Tech Certification
- Concrete Field Technician/ACI Grade 1
- Soils and Aggregate Technician
- TDEC: EPSC Level 1 - For inspectors conducting EPSC inspections
- EPSC Level 2 - For supervisors of EPSC inspections
- Nuclear Gauge Training
- Work Zone Traffic Control and Flagger
