CEI Inspector
WSP is seeking a CEI Inspector to join our project team in Arcadia, FL. This position will assist the Senior Inspector in performing their duties and receive general supervision from them.
Responsibilities
- Receive general supervision from Senior Inspectors or Inspectors and assist them in the performance of their duties on roadway construction projects.
Requirements
- High School Diploma.
- 2 years of related experience in construction inspection, one (1) year of bridge and/or roadway construction inspection, or an Engineer Intern with a Civil Engineering degree having the ability to earn the required qualifications and certifications within one year.
- FDOT computer access and knowledge of AASHTOWare PrC Construction and MAC.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbally and in writing).
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications: MS Office, Excel, and Outlook email.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Must obtain the following qualifications/certifications within one (1) year to meet CEI Inspector requirements:
- CTQP Final Estimates Level I
- CTQP Concrete Field Inspector Level I
- CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level I
- CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level I
- CTQP Drilled Shaft Inspection (required for inspection of all drilled shafts including miscellaneous structures such as sign structures, lighting structures, and traffic signal structures)
- FDOT Intermediate MOT
- Nuclear Radiation Safety
- IMSA Traffic Signal Inspector Level 1
- Florida Stormwater, Erosion, and Sedimentation Control Training and Certification Program for Inspectors and Contractors
