CE Instructor- Voice

About the role

The Harper College Community Music and Arts Center seeks a voice instructor to provide instruction in private lessons and group settings for children and adults. This position is expected to start ASAP. The position is dependent on enrollment and includes evening and weekend work, as well as attendance at recitals.

Responsibilities

• Provide private voice lessons to students of all ages and skill levels
• Teach group voice classes
• Attend recitals and other performances
• Adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
• Collaborate with other music instructors and staff

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in music education or related field
• Experience teaching voice
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work evenings and weekends

Qualifications

• Pass a background check
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Effective teaching methods
• Ability to work with diverse populations
