About the role

The CE-560XL Captain is responsible for leading all aircraft operations, ensuring safety and delivering exceptional client experiences. This role demands technical precision, professional presence, and sound judgment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct all aircraft operations in accordance with the Flight Operations Manual and Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Maintain operational control on behalf of the Director of Operations, making final decisions on all flights.
  • Lead and mentor assigned First Officers, fostering professional development and crew cohesion.
  • Maintain current proficiency and type competency as a required crewmember on the assigned aircraft.
  • Ensure strict compliance with flight and duty time limitations, rest requirements, and fatigue risk management standards.
  • Deliver premium service experiences that consistently meet and exceed aircraft owner and passenger expectations.
  • Coordinate itinerary changes and special client needs with the Operations Control Center.
  • Conduct thorough and professional preflight passenger briefings.
  • Foster lasting client relationships through attentive and hospitable service.
  • Review flight and maintenance logs, ensuring airworthiness and compliance with policies and manufacturer standards.
  • Coordinate with maintenance personnel for required or discrepancy-driven maintenance.
  • Ensure accurate completion of all flight, aircraft, and passenger records, meeting company and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform duties as Ground and In-flight Security Coordinator, ensuring aircraft and passenger security.
  • Verify valid documentation for international travel and conduct international arrivals/departures in compliance with regulations.
  • Participate in safety management system initiatives, continuous improvement programs, and fleet standardization efforts.
  • Contribute to training program development and serve as a mentor resource for junior crew members.
  • Pursue ongoing professional development and stay current on regulatory requirements.
  • Complete special projects and initiatives as needed.

Requirements

  • ATP Certificate required.
  • Current First-Class Medical Certificate.
  • 3,000 hours total flight time; 1,500 hours total PIC time; 500 hours Multi-Engine PIC time; 250 hours PIC time in type; 250 hours Turbine PIC time.
  • Completed initial or recurrent training in the required aircraft type within the preceding 12 months.
  • Working knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations applicable to FAR Part 135 and Part 91 operations.
  • Valid state driver's license and valid passport required.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Qualifications

  • Physical stamina to manage extended duty days, overnight trips, and irregular rest cycles.
  • Professional appearance maintained at all times while on duty or in contact with clients and aircraft owners.
  • Valid driver's license required for ground transportation responsibilities.

Pay

Compensation per the Jet Access Flight Crew Compensation Plan, variable based on aircraft assignment and experience.

Schedule

This position is classified as FLSA Exempt. The schedule is a three-crew rotation, ten days on/five days off; flexibility is a core expectation of this seat. Both domestic and international operations are part of standard duty; specific scheduling details will be confirmed at the time of assignment.
