CDO Country Cluster Head - US based/remote

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a CDO Country Cluster Head - US based/remote to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will lead country cluster clinical trial delivery across the U.S. on a remote basis, with a strong focus on execution quality, timeline adherence, and patient recruitment. The position is accountable for overseeing study and site performance, partnering closely with external service providers and internal stakeholders to ensure effective trial operations. The ideal candidate will also drive operational improvements and help strengthen oversight across clinical development activities in a highly regulated environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical trial delivery, ensuring timelines and patient recruitment are met
• Manage a high-performing team for effective study and site execution
• Implement risk-based monitoring strategies to ensure study quality
• Drive improvement of clinical operations processes for efficiency
• Collaborate with external service providers for oversight of country and site activities

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in clinical trials
• Experience leading diverse country operations teams across various trial types
• Demonstrated people and project management skills, especially in operational change
• Extensive knowledge of clinical development, operations, quality, and regulatory compliance
• Familiarity with drug development processes and major Health Authority regulations

Pay

$177,000 – $259,000 annually
