CDL Truck Driver - PRN, As Needed
About the role
Responsible for working in Material Management environment supporting all facets of supply chain operations including inventory management, shipping and receiving, delivery, stock replenishment.
Responsibilities
- Drives Semi-delivery truck with 53 ft. trailer between campuses moving supplies between facilities.
- Loads and unloads supplies and equipment to and from truck.
- Works with material management distribution systems supporting inventory management processes including computer systems, bar code scanners and handheld computer devices.
- Ensures vehicle follows the Company’s safety standards prior to operating the vehicle.
- Completes vehicle condition reports daily to ensure that any vehicle defects are repaired in a timely manner.
- Responsible for ensuring all Company, state, and federal regulations are adhered to while operating the vehicle.
- Works under/handle stressful situations.
Requirements
- Must be 24 years old with 6 months of verifiable driving experience and good driving record.
- Valid CDL Class A license.
