CDL Truck Driver Class A

Responsibilities

• Prepare and load equipment for delivery to customer sites.
• Return equipment to rental yards after use.
• Provide training or instructional direction on the safe use of equipment.
• Communicate and cooperate with customers, addressing their questions and concerns.
• Operate delivery vehicles in compliance with company and DOT guidelines, rules, and regulations.
• Complete daily vehicle inspections.
• Work closely with Rental Coordinators and/or Branch Managers.
• Identify the need for repairs or maintenance and ensure these are completed with minimal disruption to operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience Needed

• A High School or GED is required.
• At least two years driving experience or completion of a truck driver training school operating similar equipment to a CDL Truck Driver.
• Dependable, responsible, and committed to safe operation of vehicle and timely pickup/delivery of equipment.
• No preventable accidents, license suspensions, alcohol-related violations, or other moving violations in the past 3 years.
• A CDL-A is required.
• Excellent attendance record.
