CDL Truck Driver

About the role

The successful candidate will support Savers' vision by assisting drivers in unloading donations, organizing goods, and managing truck operations.

Responsibilities

• Safely maneuver and operate a tractor trailer truck through city streets and tight spaces
• Complete daily store swaps of full trailers for empty
• Complete all required daily paperwork including vehicle inspection, trailer inspections, and maintenance forms
• Absorb workload when needed
• Ensure trucks are clean and ready for use at the start of another shift
• Check vehicles to ensure proper safety and work conditions are in compliance with Savers policies and State/DOT laws
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and have a Motor Vehicle Report without any violations or accidents within the last three years
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• CDL/Class A license required
• Doubles/Triples endorsement
• 2-3 years’ experience driving a tractor trailer truck
• 3-5 years clean driving record
• Forklift experience is a plus

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 21 years old
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs, stand frequently, and navigate various surfaces and equipment
• Must be able to communicate orally and in writing, set priorities, meet deadlines, and multi-task
• Must be able to set priorities, meet deadlines with flexibility, and multi-task with minimal direction
• Must be able to be detail-oriented and maintain drivers logs and reports

Pay

$24.00 - $36.00 per hour
