CDL Truck Driver

About the role

Associated Grocers is seeking CDL Truck Drivers to join their fleet. Truck Drivers are responsible for safely operating fully-loaded tractor-trailer rigs and delivering merchandise to customers.

Responsibilities

• Depart the warehouse on a scheduled basis with a manifest bearing the driver’s name and a listing of stores where deliveries and/or pickups are to be made.
• Verify the seal number with an authorized store representative and, after unloading, account for shortages, mislabels or returns.
• Responsible for the unloading and accounting of returned items upon returning to the warehouse.
• May be required to perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Qualified applicants must meet DOT qualifications.
• Have at least 6 months of recent verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Hold a valid Medical Qualification Card.
• Be able to routinely lift and move merchandise weighing 40-60 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
• Work on weekends and holidays.

Pay

Starting Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour
After 90 days: $27.53 per hour
Sign-On Bonus: $1,000
