CDL Shuttle Driver (DOT)

Responsibilities

• Proper and safe operation of shuttle buses.
• Transporting passengers efficiently, safely, and seamlessly.
• Performing vehicle inspections, maintaining bus cleanliness, and fueling buses.
• Logging trip counts and assisting disabled passengers.
• Being punctual and in uniform every scheduled day.
• Maintaining a valid CDL with Passenger Endorsement and DOT Medical Card.
• Reporting accidents, violations, and unusual occurrences to the Facility Manager.
• Communicating debris, water, oil spills, and other issues to the garage office.
• Substituting for Cashiers or Valets when authorized.
• Assisting customers with luggage and other traveling items, especially at airport locations.
• Assisting the Facility Manager with other duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Less than high school education or one month related experience, training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A valid CDL Class A, B, or C Driver’s License with Passenger Endorsement.
• A DOT Medical Card.
• Availability to work special shifts, including 3rd shift and weekends, if required.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
• Basic mathematical skills to perform operations with units of American money.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, use hands, and occasionally lift up to 75 pounds.
