CDL Shuttle Driver (DOT)

Responsibilities

• Proper and safe operation of shuttle buses
• Transporting passengers efficiently, safely, and seamlessly
• Ensuring passengers reach their destinations
• Performing vehicle inspections
• Maintaining cleanliness of bus interiors
• Fueling buses
• Logging trip counts
• Aiding disabled passengers
• Being at work every scheduled day, on time, and in uniform
• Possessing a valid state-issued driver’s license
• Maintaining an acceptable DMV record
• Reporting any accidents, violations, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to the Facility Manager
• Communicating debris, water, oil spills, and other issues to the garage office
• Substituting for Cashiers or Valets when authorized
• Assisting customers with luggage and other traveling items
• Assisting Facility Manager with other duties as needed

Qualifications

• Less than High School education or one month related experience, training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• A valid CDL Class A, B or C Driver’s License with Passenger Endorsement
• A DOT Medical Card
• Availability to work special shifts, including 3rd shift and weekends, if applicable
• Ability to read, comprehend instructions, and write simple correspondence
• Mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
• Physical demands: standing, walking, handling cash and equipment, sitting, climbing, balancing, lifting up to 75 pounds, and occasional bending, reaching, and kneeling

Schedule

Special shift requirements may vary depending on a location's hiring needs. If applicable, availability to work 3rd shift and/or weekends may be a requirement.

Pay

$30.00-$34.00/hr
