CDL Shuttle Driver

About the role

Our professional Shuttle Drivers play an important role in our operation in providing safe and courteous transportation of customers between the parking facility and airport. With more than 25 years in business, The Parking Spot has grown into the largest near‑airport parking company in the United States with over 2,000 team members across 70 locations nationwide. Responsibilities

• Safely transport up to 15 passengers to and from the airport terminal and TPS parking locations while adhering to all safe driving practices
• Perform the appropriate pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections
• Greet each customer with a smile, offering to assist with their luggage
• Provide pleasant customer service
• Demonstrate knowledge of the facility and airport terminals
• Cooperate with all team members to provide the best possible service
• May cross‑train for other frontline positions as directed by management
• Comply with all applicable regulations and requirements governing operation of commercial vehicles
• Perform additional duties as reasonably requested by Management

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High school education or equivalent
• Previous driver and/or customer service experience preferred
• Currently holds and is able to maintain a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Employee Handbook
• Currently holds a CDL with a Passenger Endorsement and any applicable licenses or badges as required by governing authorities to operate a commercial vehicle
• Willing to pass a physical as part of the selection process as required by airport, federal DOT and/or state regulations
• Able to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records in compliance with DOT regulations

Pay

Pay Rate: $17 per hour (plus tips – cash and mobile) with regular bonus opportunities.
