Key Responsibilities
- Administer CDL skills and knowledge tests, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations.
- Ensure all students are evaluated fairly and accurately during the testing process.
- Maintain thorough records of each test and ensure all documentation is properly filed and submitted to regulatory bodies.
- Provide detailed feedback to students following their test, highlighting areas of strength and areas requiring improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in CDL testing regulations and ensure that the testing process remains compliant.
- Report any discrepancies, safety concerns, or violations to the Director of the CDL School.
- Aid in developing improvements to training programs based on the results of CDL testing and student performance.
- Support instructors by providing insights and suggestions for enhancing the CDL training curriculum.
- Collaborate with the Director and training team to ensure that Stevens Driving Academy continues to meet or exceed state and federal performance metrics.
Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications: Certified 3rd Party CDL Examiner with experience conducting CDL testing.
- Comprehensive knowledge of state and federal CDL requirements and testing standards.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide constructive feedback.
- Proficiency in using testing and evaluation software, as well as general office equipment.
- Able to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Must possess a valid CDL (Class A).
- Strong ethical standards and commitment to compliance with regulatory requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong decision-making skills and the ability to remain objective during testing.
- Clear and concise communication, both verbal and written.
- Able to manage time efficiently and balance multiple responsibilities.

Work Experience

Education
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Certification as a CDL Examiner is required.
