About the role

Darling Ingredients is looking to hire a Route Driver for their Berlin, WI area. Routes would be in WI. This position offers competitive pay, depending on experience, starting at $30.52 plus overtime. Responsibilities

• Collect and transport raw materials from customers back to the facility
• Drive a Bucket trailer/truck and manage routes using an onboard computer (OBC)
• Keep an up-to-date paper log for compliance purposes
• Ensure the truck is clean and complete a vehicle condition report daily
• Provide exceptional professional service to all customers and adhere to laws and regulations
• Work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Authorized to work in the US
• Valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement
• Good driving record
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Customer service skills
• Two years of experience operating a commercial vehicle preferred, but other factors will be considered
• Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing
• Highly organized with superior time management skills

Qualifications

• Must have valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement
• Must have good driving record
• Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs
• Must be authorized to work in the US
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Must have two years of experience operating a commercial vehicle, but other factors will be considered
• Must have ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing
• Must have high organizational skills and time management skills
