About the role

Darling Ingredients is looking to hire a Route Driver for their Eau Claire, WI area. Routes would be in WI. This position offers competitive pay, depending on experience, starting at $30.47 plus overtime. Responsibilities

  • Collect and transport raw materials from a broad customer base back to the facility.
  • Drive a Bucket truck and/or Trailer, collecting materials from multiple customers along your route each day.
  • Manage your route with an onboard computer (OBC) and maintain an up-to-date paper log for compliance.
  • Keep your truck clean and complete a vehicle condition report daily.
  • Provide exceptional professional service to all customers and adhere to all laws and regulations.
  • Enjoy the flexibility of driving for a living while still being home every night.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Authorized to work in the US.
  • Valid Class A CDL.
  • Good driving record.
  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  • Customer service skills.
  • Two years of experience operating a commercial vehicle preferred but other factors will be considered.
  • Clear communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Superior time management skills.

Qualifications
