CDL Route Delivery Driver, Industrial Store

Responsibilities

• Delivers and exchanges full cylinders and liquid vessels for empty ones.
• Delivers freight to customers on a weekly route.
• Utilizes a box truck to deliver gas cylinders and hard good products for customers.
• Pulls 28' pups (Doubles) to other Norco branches.
• Trains to deliver Bulk CO2 and Nitrogen to customers.
• Delivers Liquid Nitrogen efficiently.
• Organize delivery route on a daily basis.
• Deliver liquid and compressed gases to specified points of delivery.
• Supervise the upkeep of delivery vehicles, including interior and exterior cleanliness.
• Complete delivery and pick-up paperwork promptly and accurately.
• Return said paperwork to the appropriate facility personnel.
• Load and unload freight and accurately fill out truck manifest.
• Accurately fill out gas invoices.
• Perform other tasks as assigned or necessary.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL with Hazmat Material Endorsement and Doubles required.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Ability to drive and back tractor trailer combination.
• Knowledge of hauling hazardous material.
• No at fault accidents or DOT violations resulting in suspension within the last 3 years.
• Familiar with all DOT and FDA regulations as they pertain to oxygen.
• Ability to lift and/or carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs. frequently and occasionally weighing over 100 lbs.
• Work safely around special hazards (i.e. mechanical -- operating lift gate, haul and work around flammable gas and non-flammable gas).
