Responsibilities
- Drive automated or side-load residential collection trucks through assigned neighborhoods in Wilson County.
- Safely operate hydraulic mechanisms to lift, dump, and return residential waste and recycling carts.
- Represent GFL with a friendly attitude, interact positively with residents, and keep residential streets clean and safe.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip safety checks to ensure the vehicle is in top condition.
Requirements
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL Class A or B).
- 1+ years of CDL driving experience (residential route experience is a plus).
- Ability to step in and out of the cab frequently and lift up to 50 lbs when necessary.
- Excellent spatial awareness for driving down tight residential streets and near parked vehicles.
