CDL Operator

About the role

The Industrial Cleaning Operator will operate, maintain, and repair high-pressure water blasting equipment and industrial vacuuming equipment necessary to perform the safe and proper removal, containment, transportation, and disposal of both hazardous and non-hazardous materials within heavy industrial settings. They perform the general labor activities of a Hydroblast Technician, as well as operate water blasting and industrial vacuum equipment.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Show commitment to perform all assigned duties safely, at all times.
• Maintain physical fitness to meet the physical requirements of operating and repairing assigned equipment.
• Operate industrial vacuum trucks, high-pressure industrial water blasters, and other necessary equipment.
• Identify and report mechanical problems of assigned equipment to supervisors for repair.
• Safely and effectively perform decontamination processes of assigned equipment as required by project and company policy to prevent cross-contamination between equipment and job sites.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Exposed to weather, including extreme temperatures.
• Work in atmospheres with potential for exposure to various chemicals that may be hazardous, toxic, or corrosive.
• Required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to climb ladders to heights of up to 250 feet.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• CDL Class A or B required.
• Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Physically capable of performing all duties and responsibilities assigned.
• Ability to work long hours, weekends, and holidays.
