CDL Fuel Delivery Driver

Tiger is looking for an outstanding Propane/Fuel Delivery Driver to join our team at our Fredericksburg Plant. This position requires an individual to safely load, then drive a bobtail delivery vehicle to residential and commercial customer locations. This role will also cross-train as an oil delivery driver. We're seeking someone who has a real passion for customer service and thrives in a fast-paced environment as a safety-focused Bobtail Driver.

Responsibilities

• Loads, secures, transports, delivers, and unloads propane and other fuel to and from specified destinations.
• Inspects vehicle and notifies supervisor of needed equipment, supplies, or routine maintenance.
• Prepares and maintains records in accordance with regulations and company procedures.
• Operates delivery truck in accordance with established safety procedures.
• Collaborates with Dispatcher to plan and follow routes and meet delivery schedules.
• Provides exceptional customer service by supplying service information and answering questions.
• Completes required on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend emergency deliveries and responses.
• Ensures truck and associated equipment are clean and in good working order.
• During slower summer months, takes on plant maintenance and other responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

• Class A or B CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements.
• Experience maneuvering in tight quarters and driving in snow, ice, and other weather conditions.
• Physically capable of heavy lifting, bending, squatting, climbing, and carrying hoses/nozzles weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Good driving record with no major convictions.
• Able to communicate effectively verbally and in written correspondence with Dispatcher and customers.
• Able to read and understand road signs, instructions, routes, and other paperwork.
• Displays a positive, “can-do” attitude and interacts well with others on a team.
• Pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen test.

Pay

$24.00/hr to $26.00/hr
