CDL Fuel Delivery Driver

Tiger Fuel Company is seeking a safety-focused Propane/Fuel Delivery Driver to join our team at the Fredericksburg Plant. This role involves safely loading, driving, and delivering propane and other fuels to residential and commercial customers, with cross-training as an oil delivery driver. We prioritize customer service, job security, and opportunities for advancement based on performance.

Responsibilities

• Load, secure, transport, deliver, and unload propane and other fuels to specified destinations.
• Inspect vehicle and notify supervisor of needed equipment, supplies, or routine maintenance.
• Prepare and maintain records in accordance with regulations and company procedures.
• Operate delivery truck in accordance with established safety procedures.
• Collaborate with Dispatcher to plan and follow routes and meet delivery schedules.
• Provide exceptional customer service by supplying service information and answering questions.
• Complete required on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend emergency deliveries.
• Ensure truck and associated equipment are clean and in good working order.
• During slower summer months, assist with plant maintenance and other responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

• Class A or B CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements.
• Experience maneuvering in tight quarters and driving in snow, ice, and other weather conditions.
• Physically capable of heavy lifting, bending, squatting, climbing, and carrying hoses/nozzles weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Good driving record with no major convictions.
• Able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with Dispatcher and customers.
• Able to read and understand road signs, instructions, routes, and other paperwork.
• Positive, “can-do” attitude and ability to work well in a team.
• Pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen test.

Pay

$25–$27 per hour.
