CDL Front-end Driver, Up To $5000 sign-on bonus

About the role

Patriot Disposal is a rapidly growing, private equity-backed waste and recycling company serving the Mid-Atlantic region. We provide essential environmental services to commercial, industrial, and residential customers. We’re looking for a Front-end Driver who leads from the front and knows how to get the best out of a team.

Responsibilities

The Front Load Driver is responsible for servicing commercial customers by safely operating a front-load truck to collect and transport waste. Key responsibilities include:

• Safety & Vehicle Operation: demonstrate strong vehicle control, comply with safety policies and procedures, and perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Route Execution & Productivity: complete routes safely and on time, navigate high-density service areas, and maintain productivity standards
• Equipment Operation & Waste Collection: operate hydraulic lifting systems, position truck and align forks accurately, and monitor lifting operations
• Customer Service & Site Standards: provide professional service to commercial customers, leave customer sites clean and free of debris, and communicate service-related issues
• Documentation & Communication: complete DVIRs, route sheets, and service logs accurately, and maintain communication with dispatch and operations leadership

Requirements

The following qualifications are required:

• Valid Class A or B CDL with air brake endorsement
• Valid DOT medical certification
• Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles in tight environments
• Strong communication and customer service skills

Preferred qualifications include 1+ year of CDL driving experience and experience with front-load or hydraulic equipment.

Qualifications and Physical Requirements

Physical requirements include frequent climbing in and out of the truck and the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Work Environment & Schedule

The work environment is commercial and industrial, with a full-time schedule and early morning start times, Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays.
