Position Summary
The CDL Equipment Transportation Driver is essential to keeping Arrowmark's field operations running efficiently by ensuring equipment is delivered safely, on time, and ready to work.
Essential Job Duties
- Safely transport heavy construction equipment using lowboy, tilt-deck, and equipment trailers.
- Load, unload, and secure equipment according to DOT regulations and company safety standards.
- Transport equipment including: excavators, loaders, skid steers, motor graders, rollers, water trucks, backhoes, scrapers, attachments, and support equipment.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections on trucks and trailers.
- Complete vehicle inspection reports and transportation paperwork.
- Cook up daily deliveries and pickups with dispatch, project managers, superintendents, and field crews.
- Deliver equipment to jobsites safely and on schedule.
- Inspect equipment for damage before loading and after delivery.
- Report maintenance or safety concerns immediately.
- Maintain a clean, organized truck and trailer.
- Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and DOT requirements.
- Provide professional customer service while representing the company on job sites and at vendor locations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Current DOT Medical Card
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record
- Minimum of 3 years of CDL driving experience
- Experience hauling heavy construction equipment
- Ability to safely operate construction equipment for loading and unloading
- Knowledge of load securement, chains, binders, and DOT regulations
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
Preferred Experience
- Experience with heavy civil construction projects
- Familiarity with the Phoenix metropolitan area
- Mechanical aptitude and equipment knowledge
- Experience operating lowboy trailers
Physical Requirements
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Climb on and off equipment and trailers throughout the day
- Frequently bend, kneel, squat, and climb
- Safely secure equipment using chains and binders

Full-Time
