CDL Driver - VAC /Box Truck

About the role

Buffalo Biodiesel Inc., in business since 2005 and with over 20 years of experience, collects and recycles used cooking oil to produce biodiesel, a carbon‑reducing alternative fuel. The company operates in 15 states serving over 27,000 locations and complies with the Federal Drug‑Free Workplace Act. They are seeking CDL B Drivers to join their team at the Modena, NY depot for a full‑time, in‑person position.

Responsibilities

• Operate the VAC truck to collect used cooking oil using a PTO pump and hoses.
• Operate the Box truck to drop off, swap, or remove equipment using drum carts and/or pallet jacks.
• Perform driving and associated labor tasks as required.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL B license.
• Current DOT Physical.
• Interstate and Tanker (N) endorsements.
• Hard‑working, reliable, with a safe driving record meeting company insurance criteria.
• Drug‑free.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs.
• High school diploma or GED.

Schedule

Shift options include: Saturday, Monday, Wednesday 8:30 am – 10:30 pm; or Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday 8:30 am – 10:30 pm; or flexible shifts negotiable with management, including night shifts and 8‑12 hour shifts. The role typically involves 14‑hour shifts, with possible 16‑hour shifts under the DOT 16‑hour exemption, resulting in a 3‑day work week with opportunity to move to a 4‑day week.

Pay

Starting pay rate is $35 per hour for the first 40 hours each week, with overtime paid at time‑and‑a‑half for hours over 40 per week.
