CDL Driver - Part-Time

Position Summary

Ballard Truck Center is seeking a highly motivated and qualified applicant for the position of CDL Driver. This role involves delivering and returning vehicles to Ballard locations and customers for the Sales and Service Department.

Responsibilities And Duties/Essential Functions

• Follow appropriate safety procedures while driving trucks to destination of Ballard locations or customer locations in New England
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles and report to location manager if any issues are found
• Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor

• Reaches with hands and arms

Qualifications

• Class 8 driving experience required
• Clean driving record required
• CDL Class B license required; CDL Class A license preferred
• Ability to drive Standard Transmission to perform road tests
• Able to read and follow written instructions
• Able to work independently, customer service skills, organizational skills, and a positive attitude are required
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• Willing and able to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required
