CDL Driver / Material Handler

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of transferring material between plant and warehouse within 1 mile.
• Use a forklift safely and efficiently.
• Load and offload over-the-road vehicles.
• Stage material for operations and store materials in an organized manner.
• Prepare finished products for shipment: label product, stack material on pallets, package as necessary.
• Perform and report routine cycle counts.
• Organize and maintain raw material and consumable locations.
• Coverage for other employees as needed.
• Follow all Environmental Health & Safety Procedures.

Requirements

• Class B CDL with Hazmat endorsement - Required
• Forklift experience - 1 year experience preferred
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office software: use of Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task
• High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver license; reliable transportation
• Wear a respirator; be clean shaven daily
