Iron Eagle specializes in industrial services, focusing on industrial cleaning, emergency spill response, and waste management. We are expanding our operations and seek CDL DRIVERS to join our team!Requirements
- CDL (Class A) - Manual, Tanker, and HazMat Endorsements - Successful completion of a background check and DOT Drug Test & Physical Examination as per OSHA and FMCSA regulatory guidelines - Adhere to on-call schedule (for emergency response) and occasional overnight travelResponsibilities
- Conduct pre-trip inspections
- Perform light maintenance and repairs
- Load/unload Vac Trucks, Transports, and Rolloffs, etc.
- Occasional long-distance hauling (approx. 10%)
- Load and secure heavy equipment
- Maintain proper placarding and labeling of vehicles
- Complete all necessary documentation for DOT/MnDOT, etc.
- Transportation & Equipment Operation:
- Operate Class A/B commercial vehicles including vacuum trucks, pump trucks, roll-off trucks, and specialized hazmat transport vehicles
- Navigate to industrial sites, refineries, chemical facilities, and emergency response locations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on complex equipment systems
- Maintain accurate driver logs and equipment maintenance records
- Hazardous Materials Handling:
- Transport hazardous waste in compliance with DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load and unload various waste streams including liquids, sludges, and contaminated materials
- Properly secure and manifest hazardous cargo for transport
- Technical Equipment Operations:
- Set up and operate industrial vacuum trucks with high-capacity pumping systems
- Connect appropriate hoses, fittings, and manifolds for different tank configurations
- Operate positive displacement pumps, centrifugal pumps, and compressed air systems
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform basic field repairs
- Emergency Response Services:
- Respond to oil spills, chemical releases, and environmental incidents
- Deploy containment booms, absorbent materials, and recovery equipment
- Work extended hours during emergency situations and weather events
- Clock in with incident commanders and regulatory agencies on-site
- Tank and Vessel Cleaning:
- Enter confined spaces following proper safety procedures and permitting
- Operate high-pressure washing systems and specialized cleaning equipment
- Remove sludges, scale, and hazardous residues from storage tanks and process vessels
- Set up ventilation and atmospheric monitoring equipment
