About The Role
The CDL A Driver II is responsible for safely transporting non-hazardous liquid bulk and bulk solid materials between Reworld facilities and customer locations. This role operates a variety of specialized equipment including tankers, vacuum trucks, roll-off trucks, walking floor trailers, and box trucks. This is a home-daily position.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport non-hazardous liquid and solid waste materials in accordance with DOT regulations and company safety policies.
- Operate a variety of commercial vehicles and specialized equipment, including tankers, vacuum trucks, roll-off trucks, walking floor trailers, and box trucks.
- Load, unload, and manage materials safely and efficiently at customer and facility locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any vehicle or equipment issues.
- Maintain professional relationships with customers and represent Reworld in a positive manner.
- Follow established routes, schedules, and operational procedures while meeting service commitments.
- Complete all required transportation and compliance paperwork, including manifests, bills of lading, driver logs, inspection reports, and delivery documentation.
- Maintain communication with dispatch, operations teams, customers, and fellow drivers regarding schedules, route changes, and service needs.
- Comply with all company, DOT, customer, and safety requirements.
- Report incidents, maintenance concerns, and safety issues promptly.
- Support operational needs by operating multiple equipment types and assisting with field and transportation activities as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid CDL Class A license required.
- Tanker endorsement required.
- Minimum of 2 years of CDL driving experience.
- Acceptable driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating tankers, vacuum trucks, roll-off trucks, walking floor trailers, or similar equipment.
- Waste management, environmental services, industrial services, or bulk transportation experience preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to obtain a TWIC card in the future if required.
Schedule
- Home Daily
- Start time 5 - 7 AM
- 10-12 Hour Shifts
Physical Demands
- Ability to walk, stand, sit, bend, and climb throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to enter and exit commercial vehicles multiple times per day.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to safely perform loading, unloading, and general equipment operation duties.
- Visual and hearing ability sufficient to safely operate commercial vehicles and equipment.

Pay
The pay range for the primary location of this position is: $55,704.00 - $76,646.00.
