CDL Driver - Hourly + Bonus & Benefits, Home Daily, Weekends Off
Vintners Logistics, located in Kennewick, Washington, provides warehousing, transportation, distribution, and special project services to a variety of industries, with a specialization in wine, food processing, confection, and pharmaceuticals. We are seeking a professional full-time CDL A driver dedicated to safety, service, and sanitation. While driving is a key part of the role, it is not the only responsibility. We offer a great work environment, wonderful customers, safe equipment, training, and a competitive compensation package. Our drivers are home most nights and off weekends outside of harvest season.
Responsibilities
- FMSCA-compliant pre- and post-trip equipment inspections
- HOS-compliant driving
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Handle TL and LTL routes, including lift-gate deliveries
- Use hand trucks, pallet jacks, and perform pallet breakdown when required
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Class A CDL
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and random drug testing
- Ability to work independently
- Capable of lifting and bending to handle heavy items, including barrels (approx. 120 lbs)
- Climb in and out of trailers, push/pull pallet jacks (100–200 lbs force)
- Self-motivated with a strong willingness to work
- Basic math and writing skills
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English (proficiency testing required during interview)
- Bilingual in Spanish is beneficial
Pay
Drivers are paid hourly, with overtime for hours worked over 40 per week. Base pay range: $26.20–$29.59 per hour, plus overtime, bonuses, and a monthly cell phone stipend.
- Cell phone stipend: $35 per month
- Bonus: $50 per LTL daily route worked
- Bonus: $40 per overnight route
