CDL Driver for Slurry Seal & Microsurfacing Operations

Responsibilities

• Maintain vehicles in a clean, organized, and safe manner
• Complete pre- and post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure D.O.T. standards are met
• Process required paperwork and report vehicle inspection results to supervisor
• Be prompt and on time, maintaining a positive relationship with co-workers and management
• Load and unload materials, work outdoors in extreme temperatures, and follow project-specific tasks
• Work out of town and overtime, including weekends, as needed
• Receive per diem for work locations more than 50 miles from home

Requirements

• Possession of or ability to obtain a valid state CDL Class A driver’s license with a Medical DOT card with no active violations within the past three years
• Pass a drug test at all times and be subject to the FMCSA
• Minimum of 2 years of driving experience with tanker endorsement preferred
• Frequent exposure to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, vibration, extreme weather conditions, and loud noise levels
• Specific vision abilities, physical activity, and lifting up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 90 pounds occasionally
