CDL Driver Class A

About the role

Operate heavy and light-duty trucks, including vacuum trucks and roll-offs, for environmental response and waste management operations. Perform both driving and field duties such as hazardous waste cleanup, soil excavation, containment, and site decontamination while ensuring compliance with DOT, EPA, OSHA, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain response equipment
• Prepare work sites for environmental response activities
• Complete required documentation accurately
• Transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials safely
• Respond to emergency calls as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid CDL Class A license
• 1–2 years of driving experience
• Knowledge of safety regulations (DOT, EPA, OSHA)
• Mechanical aptitude
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in various conditions
• Willingness to respond to emergency calls
