About the role

Local driving position operating regional routes based in Alma, GA.

Schedule

Typically 5 days per week, Monday‑Friday.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport finished goods and raw materials in refrigerated tractor‑trailers.
• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections to ensure vehicles are safe and roadworthy.
• Document and maintain accurate logs of driving time, rest periods, mileage, fuel purchases, and toll receipts.
• Comply with all applicable DOT regulations, including size, weight, route, parking, and hours‑of‑service requirements, as well as company policies and procedures.
• Maneuver trailers into loading and unloading positions as needed. (Trailers are preloaded and located in the company yard or at the shipper.)
• Collect, verify, and follow delivery instructions.
• Promptly report any vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or mechanical issues.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Class A tractor‑trailer (OTR) driving experience.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.
• Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to work independently and maintain accurate records.

Starting pay: paid weekly.
