CDL Driver
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections
- Verify inventory accuracy
- Audit job site conditions to prevent hazards
- Collaborate with customers for material placement
- Document deliveries with photos per company policy
- Load/unload with forklifts or manually
- Work in varied weather and noisy environments
- Read job-related documents in English
Minimum Qualifications
- Must have a valid CDL Class A or B with air brakes endorsement and a clean driving record
- Must operate forklifts/Moffett's safely
- Work in varied conditions
- Communicate effectively in English
- Candidates must be 18+ (21 for interstate/hazmat)
- Pass background checks, drug tests, and E-Verify
- Verification via the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s (FMCSA) Clearinghouse
- 1-2 years of relevant commercial driving experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Preferred qualifications include a Hazmat endorsement
- Strong vehicle maintenance skills
- Experience with multi-drop deliveries
- Familiarity with fleet management systems
- Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement
- Multi-lingual abilities are a plus for enhancing customer communication
