CDL Driver

What You'll Do

• Drive all vehicles safely, efficiently, and courteously.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards through regular vehicle inspections.
• Carefully verify and load orders onto customer and company vehicles, maintaining high accuracy to meet customer satisfaction.
• Engage in loading, unloading, stocking, and organizing merchandise using equipment like hand trucks and forklifts, ensuring all materials are secured properly to prevent damage.
• Complete all necessary paperwork in alignment with company policies.
• Report any equipment maintenance or safety issues to your supervisor daily.
• Take immediate action by reporting all yard accidents, no matter how minor, and ensure all necessary information is documented and submitted.
• Be ready to take on various additional tasks as needed to support team objectives and enhance operational efficiency.

What You'll Bring

• CDL License – Class B
• Prior experience in a similar role is an advantage.
• Proficient in operating hand trucks, forklifts, semi-trailers, and straight trucks.
• Strong industry experience and knowledge of building materials preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong focus on customer service.
• Highly safety-conscious with a proactive approach to workplace safety.
